Always wash hands before preparing feeds. Clean and then sterilise all utensils with an approved steriliser or by boiling in a large pot with a lid, on the stove for 5 minutes.

Boil safe drinking water and allow to cool for 30 minutes. Consult feeding guide. Measure the required volume of cooled boiled water into a sterilised feeding bottle.

&nbsp;Using only the enclosed scoop, fill scoop and level off using the built-in leveller. Avoid compacting powder.

Add the exact amount of powder to the water in the bottle. Always add 1 level scoop of powder for each 50ml of water. Cap the bottle and mix thoroughly by shaking gently or swirling the bottle to dissolve the powder.

Check the prepared feed is at the right temperature by testing on your wrist. Feed your baby immediately. Discard any unfinished feed within 1 hour (do not store).
 
It is safer to prepare each bottle as needed and use immediately after it is prepared. If a bottle of made-up formula is to be prepared in advance, store in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours. Discard any refrigerated formula not used within 24 hours.

This feeding guide is a general guide only. &nbsp;Every baby is different; your baby may need more or less follow-on formula. From the age of 6 months, your baby should be offered solid food in addition to follow-on formula.

Feeding Guide

After opening, remove foil seal. Do not use if foil seal is damaged or missing. Store can in a cool dry place. Keep airtight and use within 4 weeks. Mark date of opening on can.

a2 Genesis™ Premium follow-on formula (Stage 2) is suitable from 6 months of age and is formulated to complement the introduction of first foods. It is not suitable for use in infants under the age of 6 months.

All babies are different and will have unique and individual feeding routines. Based on the feeding guide on pack, for a formula fed baby, a can of a2 Genesis™ Premium follow-on formula (Stage 2) could last an infant approximately anywhere from around 6.5 – 8.5 days, depending on age and individual feeding routine.
