a2 Genesis™ is a new addition to our early life nutrition range of infant formula and toddler milk products. 

All our products meet their respective formulation requirements under food regulations and their formulations may vary. a2 Genesis™ is formulated against Hong Kong food regulations, whereas a2 Platinum® is formulated against Australian and New Zealand food standards. Whilst both a2 Genesis™ and a2 Platinum® are made with a2 Milk™ and contain key ingredients such as prebiotic GOS and omega-3 DHA, a2 Genesis™ is our most advanced formula with additional ingredients. 

In comparison to a2 Platinum®, a2 Genesis™ features a carefully selected combination of Human Milk Oligosaccharides, 2’FL, 3’SL and 6’SL, and the probiotic Bifidobacterium lactis HN019. The DHA in a2 Genesis™ is from an algal source, whereas the DHA in a2 Platinum® is sourced from fish. a2 Genesis™ also contains higher levels of Prebiotic GOS.

Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMO’s) are a type of carbohydrate, naturally found in breastmilk. HMO’s are the third largest component of breastmilk, of which over 200 identified structures have been found in breastmilk. HMO’s act as prebiotics - they go undigested in the gut and feed the good gut bacteria found in a baby’s gut. HMO’s have also been shown to support immunity and cognitive development in breastfed infants. 

HMO’s are added to infant formula to bring its composition closer to human milk, which has much higher concentrations of Milk Oligosaccharides than cow’s milk.

The a2 Genesis™ range contains no artificial growth hormones, colours or flavours, and no preservatives.

The a2 Genesis™ range contains no added palm oil.

The a2 Genesis™ range contains the prebiotic galacto-oligosaccharide (GOS) and the probiotic Bifidobacterium lactis HN019.

The a2 Genesis™ range does not contain any genetically modified ingredients.
